Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of the GTC and conclusion of the contract

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to purchase contracts with private customers concluded via the provider’s website.

1.2 The provider confirms the order. The contract is concluded as soon as the confirmation reaches the buyer. If the confirmation is not received within a reasonable period, the buyer may consider this a rejection of the order and is entitled to conclude a contract with another supplier.

2. Prices and special offers

2.1 Prices are quoted in CHF. VAT, the advance recycling fee and handling are included. Shipping costs are charged separately.

2.2 The provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. The prices published on the website on the date of the order apply to customers.

2.3 The terms and conditions for promotions and discounts can be found in the relevant information.

3. Delivery terms

3.1 Delivery normally takes place within 5–7 working days. If a longer delivery period is required, the customer will be informed no later than after this period has elapsed. If no such information is provided, the customer is entitled to cancel the delivery.

4. Liability and warranty

4.1 The provider warrants for a period of 24 months that the goods have the promised characteristics, are free from defects that impair their value or suitability for the intended use, and comply with the prescribed performance standards and specifications.

4.2 The buyer must inspect the delivered goods as soon as possible and report any defects immediately. The relevant customer service department can be found at www.cylan.ch. Hidden defects may also be reported after the goods have been put into operation or used. Payment does not constitute a waiver of the right to report defects.

4.3 If a defect exists, the buyer may choose to request free repair, deduct an amount from the price corresponding to the diminished value, withdraw from the contract or obtain replacement goods. The buyer’s right to claim damages is reserved in all cases.
